From 19–24 September 2026, Kouline Floral Art School in Shenzhen hosted six intensive days of plant and floral design with Stef Adriaenssens.

Through theory, demonstrations and hands-on creation, participants explored how materials, structure, proportion and space can be transformed into designs with identity and value.

Beyond Flowers. Creating Value.

The goal was never simply to create beautiful arrangements.

Throughout the six days, students were encouraged to look beyond technique: to understand materials, question proportions, explore space and develop their own design decisions.

Not to copy a design, but to understand why a design works.

The Art of Green Living

Days 1-3

From plant to design.

During the first three days, plants became more than decorative material. Students explored structure, line, proportion, texture and space — learning how a plant composition can develop its own identity. The process moved from individual objects towards larger spatial compositions, always with the same objective: to create more value through design.

Long-lasting materials. Strong design. Greater value.

From Object to Environment

When plant design moves beyond the object, it becomes part of the space itself.

The Art of Floral Lifestyle

Days 4-6

From flowers to table design and complete experiences.

During these three days, students explored how floral design can become part of a sophisticated lifestyle. Starting from the character and identity of the flower, they moved towards the table as a complete design — where flowers interact with tableware, textiles, colour, rhythm, proportion and atmosphere. The final step moved beyond the table, exploring how floral design can shape a party, an interior and the experience of the guests.

From concept to creation

Demonstration, guidance and hands-on creation are at the heart of the learning process.
